Flash menu and XML file

I'm stumped.

I am trying to embed a flash menu. I know the menu works as a standalone, i know it works embeded in the theme.html file when I browse to that file directly. Yet it does not work when calling xoops.

It would appear the XML file is not being loaded.

Is there anything I should watch out for??

True that the site Admin has to create the Teams, then also assign the site member to the team roster. And the other info settings.

But once that is done, then the Team Leaders can then change some roster info, as to active/inactive, and add matches.

Take a look athttp://eoleagues.com no other info is really entered but 4 clans are on the list.

Most of the color options will be in the CSS files. Unless they are hardcoded in the theme files.

I would suggest you get a little reading under your belt before tackling the modification of files.

Go to w3schools and read up on HTML, PHP, CSS. Use a text editor (Notepad, Wordpad, Dreamweaver or AceHTML) and find code as examples of the lessons in the XOOPS files.

The Team Module is the closest thing to it so I've seen.

I think I read... Developement on NewBB Pro is not continuing. The developpement is now on the newBB that will be released as part of the core. Info onhttp://dev.xoops.org

and since you liked the theme on Collective Conspiracy take a gander over @ 4theFort to see the others themes they offer. They are a clan site also.

Looks like a simple setup. No extra modules appear to have been used. You can get that type of look by just settings in xoops.

I run Gaming oriented websites also. Right now I use another product for clan sites.

All 3 sites run on the same XOOPS structure, just a couple features are different in each.
Of particular interest is the Team Module on the eoleagues site. Very nice for clans.

I host in the US. You can look at gdl-web.com
There you can use a subdomain, hence have a url like saf-clan.gdl-web.com for free


Dreamweaver on any other PHP page editor is a must for those times when you need to modify certain files.

For example on my site I modified the Radio Module to have the stations I wanted on it.

Often not necessary for it to work just to customize to your needs.

Have fun learning all the goodies.
