Hi,

I think it is a very nice and calm theme. If you know how to, I would change the mouseover style in the reviews and news items. They shrink on mouseover

If you want to you can hide the modules/sections that are not up and running yet from registered users and anonymous users and only show them when you are logged in as administrator. To do this, go to the admin->groups section and change the permissions.

Hi Bassyard,

Unless there is a very similar module, it would be easier to start building a new module from scratch. The standard XOOPS modules don't come near to what you would like.

So if I understand correctly: if you're not in the admin section the html template will be loaded. Otherwise the html code in the functions.php file will be displayed.

Sounds like a good idea . Have a look at: function redirect_header in the file 'functions.php' in the main include folder. You will find the html code and the message in there.

Hi,

In your theme.html file you will find something like:

Your xoops_sitename equals the slogan you have set in the admin preference and the xoops_pagetitle equals the module name of the module in which you are browsing. The last one seems to be working fine. When I go to the news module I see the title has changed to '- Articles - Microsoft Internet Explorer'.

If you wish to set the xoops_url you should edit the slogan field in admin->preferences->General Settings. According to your post you already set it. Try saving your settings again and see if it worked.

You can also edit the theme.html page itself if you wish to have a fixed title for example or if you wish not to show the '-' signs. If you only want the slogan as well to be shown and re-saving the slogan in the admin settings does not work, change the <{$xoops_url>} fiels in the theme.html file into your hard coded slogan.

Re: New Hosting Provider Wanted

Hi,

cwihosting.com is another good alternative. So far it has not been down (6 months) while I was watching. They even refund you half of the monthly fees if a site is down longer than 20 minutes in a row or not related to a reboot (although I did not know that when I signed up ).

For another site I use eroute.net but the last couple of days it has been out of the air frequently so I do not consider it to be reliable. They have a very good response time but I prefer both uptime/speed and good service.

Re: use of blocks

Hi,

You can make the changes in the administration menu by navigating to the 'blocks' section, choose the 'edit' option for the block you wish to appear in the forum module and for the 'visible in' field make only the value 'forum' selected in the form and submit the changes.

I would like to add the suggestion to make it possible for users to be notified by e-mail as well if they choose this option in the forums or other places where it is possible to receive notifications on follow-ups.
