hi,

Quote:
What you NEED to do is set standards for css classes used in module/block code, or make a wrapper for them like every other cms on the planet, THEN let the themers adapt to those, THAT way when I set something to row1 it's going to look right in every module and I don't have to sit here and template override every #OOPS#ing module.

... it will be wonderful !
How could it be done ? In your opinion, module developpers' have to change all their templates ? ...I really try to understand, because (for me) it's a "nightmare" to obtain same looking for each modules (e.g. here / downloads here)

Another question : Morphothings as you called it is really a bad thing ? Newbies have the right to learn (I'm sure you're agree with it) but do you know another tools ?

I think there is a lack of documentation about themes : for end-user, and may be for module developpers (css classes to use, etc...).

ps : I'm not a designer, just a end-user that do not want to pay for themes

@ raunharman :

1. install xoops_blueday theme using all files presents in the archive (it's necessary because blueday theme is based on the morphogenesis gabarit)
2. install your modules as usual.
3. and if you want exactly same design , you have to override templates using those are presents in /themes/xoops_blueday/modules/

(if you don't know what is "overriding", you should make a search in xoops.org forums')

Note : make sure you have tellafriend module installed, it's required with these templates.

Hi,

To install this theme (based on morphogenesis, more details at labs.xoofoo.org... in french ), just copy folders and files in your /XOOPS_ROOT_FOLDER.

Please note that some templates are "overrided". If you don't use these templates or have some troubles with it (News / MyDownloads / MyLinks / MyCredits / MyAlbum-P), just rename or erase folders in : /XOOPS_ROOT_FOLDER/themes/xoops_blueday/modules/

Hi !

I think it's a good idea and many users should show their favorites themes. May be one day xoops.org will create a site to do the same.

Another way to promote themes : here

Then thanks for your site, without ads !

[sorry too for my bad english]

Hi,

Very nice idea ! I hope you'll get some good help to make this block works !

Personnally I use for horizontal menu a morphogenesis gabarit (dynamic version) to make an horizontal main menu. It's not a block but maybe useful 'cause you can show or hide elements to visitors (relating to permissions)
