Hi all, first alpha version of clientspace 2.0 is out.
Available here :http://www.s-martinez.com/modules/wfdownloads/singlefile.php?cid=2&lid=3

Be careful you have to fully uninstall older versions before you can install this release which has been totally recoded (all docs will be lots).

Now the module is much more customisable to fit your needs.
You can now activate or not follows up and create categories to store documents.The storage of files isn't BLOB based anymore and files are now stored in the file system and protected by .htaccess.

Thanks for your feed back, there are probably some errors to correct as it is only an alpha version which is going to be improved.

I apologize I forgot to place the module description.

Clientspace is intended to be a mini CRM module for Xoops. It gives your clients (members) a private area where you can publish private documents and follows up.
In my personal case, I use it to publish follows up of projets I'm working on, estimates, documentation of products sold and invoices to my clients.
The module has been totally recoded to fit other needs as you can create the categories of documents you want and activate or not follows up.

Unfortunately no demo for the moment as I use on my professionnal website the older module.
But as soon as the module is finalized, I will ceate a demo account if it can help.

When you post a file on clientspace 2.0, it changes the name of the file to the title of the page. Also, when you download and open the file, it shows a blank file.

Otherwise, this is a GREAT idea!

Yes it is possible for you to create a category named invoices for example and publish in it invoices.
The module is not a tool to make invoices, but just a tool with which you can publish private documents, organized by categories.
Note it's an alpha version, not recommended on production web site.

Yes the title you enter is the title you want to give your file.
The blank file problem is probably due to the folders permissions which were too restrictive for some hostings, clicking on the document's name doesn't open a new window, just shows a download window.
You can download the last package I made named alpha2 with the permission corrected, and some others bug fixes.(herehttp://www.s-martinez.com/modules/wfdownloads/singlefile.php?cid=2&lid=3)

I agree with you but this is not a module to manage invoices from A to Z, just a way for example to put an online pdf version of invoices, as you can find on some ecommerce sites.
I'm thinking of making a module to put XOOPS in relation with vtiger which would realy give XOOPS CRM capabilities (would be great), but I haven't got enough knowledge to do this now (I'm a network admin , not a php developper but I'm learning fast ).
