Try something like this

<description><![CDATA[<p><{$item}></p>]]></description>

or try inestead of $item somethinlike $item.text $item.body (check in templates what's the tag for whole text). Sorry I'm writing you inna hurry.

Agree. It would be easier if you could login in Xoops via Facebook or Twitter etc.

I didn't try with cyrilic, but I will... Does anyone have the same bug too? I've updated the core from 2.5.3 to 2.5.4 and there is the same bug.

Xoops Headlines problem (utf-8)?

Hi there,

I have problem with Xoops Headlines (latest from svn). The problem is that I fetch RSS in utf-8 and all chars are ok, except only one - letter č. Instead of it i got '?' character.

What's the issue? RSS feed is ok, I'm reading it everyday.

Headlines works OK, but i have problem with one character... č it's displayed as ?... Only one :)
