Did you change XOOPS_ROOT_PATH and XOOPS_URL in mainfile.php to the new location?

The file can't be found, so either the files aren't there or the script is looking for them in the wrong location.

That is a very old exploit, I'm not sure why it is being reported as 'news'.

It was patched for XOOPS last year.

It should be declared in :

/modules/system/language/[lang name]/admin/blocksadmin.php

define("_AM_DBUPDATED",_MD_AM_DBUPDATED);

It should look exactly like that, i.e. it doesn't need to be translated, it uses the value of another constant.

There's a good FAQ which should help.

You are missing files in the [xoops_root]/install/language/english/ directory.

Try uploading the language files again, that should fix the error.

You can find the version number in the file:

[xoops root]/include/version.php

My favourite extensions are:
Sage
for RSS feeds

gTranslate
shows the translation of a highlighted word using google translation tool

Dictionary Search
I use it for wikipedia and dictionary searches

Web Developer and Tab mix plus (which have already been mentioned)

I use phpDocumentor.

I've also used PHPXref, which organises the output by directory/file structure rather than packages, which is sometimes also useful. PHPXref requires Perl, but that's not difficult to install if you don't have it already.

I haven't tried Doxygen.

I was hopeful there for a second, but no - I still can't view my profile.

Just turn off php debug through the admin section of your XOOPS site, system preferences.
