Hello, since i've asked questions here before and people were nice enough to answer (namely Stewdio) I got one last question im having problems in adding the poll to a block same with Agenda X.. any help? ideas? tuts?

im a beginer and i would love to get some help, I've been looking for a good portal for many days now and i finally found everything i needed in Xoops..
there's 2 things i have to do before I can finally use xoops
One.
How to make a custom page as my main page for xoops? i want the left and right menus(blocks) to stay the same and to be able to add in the empty middle php/html codes more info in the pic
Two. how to make all blocks shows for non-registered members i checked preferences but there was nothing there!
and im having problems by adding the poll to the block, any ideas?

i got a few questions, one how to add announcements like the one on the main of Xoops.org title is "Welcome to XOOPS official website!" and right under it there's "Recent Topics" and comments, any ideas?
