Alrighty. Now it is viewable to the world. I installed XOOPS on it and got the login loop problem that others have complained about on here. That just probably means I'm not done configuring stuff through webmin.

--or that it hates me and plots it's revenge in my sleep.

My next order of business is to set up an anonymouse ftp server for users on a community forum I go to. Basically it's so musicians can upload their own music and have people download it. We had one like that before that someone was doing, but he has since vanished into the Bermuda Triangle or something, and it doesn't work any more. I plan to use XOOPS to do this later on in the year if the artist profile module gets made and working properly, but for now we are stuck to doing things this way. And it's not working right yet, so I think I may have to kill my computer with a stick.

Or fix it.

And yes, so far mandrake has been a good choice in learning. It's pretty easy to play around with, though I'm still used to Windows and it's simplicity. Still, this is just a middle ground as I prepare myself to run a dedicated box in the future. It will be a semi-managed one from Surpass, but I'd still like to know what I'm doing before I crash the whole Internet.

i don't think that's possible, unless each page you wanted to display for specific users had some kind of hidden code in them like <if> statements or something

I try to respond to questions on there when I can (and actually know the answer), and Monty seems to be king leader of the problem response team (which is imaginary by the way lol).

Just out of curiousity when you say you moved it from one server to another, are these servers run by some place or by you?

If you can, upload XOOPS and the ibmodule to a seperate directory and make a whole new test site out of it. If it screws up with the test one, there is something wrong between the servers.

Well, I have begun relaunching the site in which I want to use this module. Hopefully this will get made and I can become rich and famous off of it's use.

So where are at exactly?

I'd rather just have it all ready to go, dump it in, and be done with it. Someone should come up with a package of crap I can just dump into my site: content already made, complete with users and top status on Google. Of course, I'm expecting this right around the time I get my voluptuous woman module that was requested the other night.

I need to change the size of the Message text box...the one I'm typing this post in. I need to shrink it down some because it's stretching my theme out all weird (since the theme is only 600px wide). Where would I look? I've noticed that there is no template file for that page.
