I installed the last books.zip module posted somewhere here and after installing it doesn't show in admin-->groups

after that I went back to modules admin and it says 'module not found'.. am I missing something here??

I have a similar problem discribed here, but it happens only in one of the 2 computers I'm using at home. in one the logged user keeps logged in but on the other computer any user that logs in get bumped out (loged out) in a refresh or moving to another page.

the cookies in the 'IE internet options-->privacy-->advanced' window is set for: 'allways allow session cookies'

I could really use some help on this one


Still can't change album permissions. Should I instead install this XcGalley module? what extra features does this last module bring different from xoopsgallery module?

somehow I lost control of the albums' permissions properties.

anyone same problem have any clue how to fix this?

the changes I make to the album doesn't take effect after presing 'save' in album permissions popup window.

help appreciated.

you are wrong in the statement xoopsgallery doesn't allow members to upload pics. Indeed you can configure any album to be used buy users so they can upload pics.

I have in in my site and it works great.

you have to go to administration-->groups and give access rights to user 'anonymous' in order to display something in the front page.. also you have to anable the blocks to display at administration-->blocks

what you can do is remove the block for the main menu (admin-->blocks-->disable mainmenu) and then place the block you did with tinycontent as the main menu.

If you do a search I believe there's a way to add/delete items from the main menu too so you can try both aproaches.
