problem solved, finally I got it up and running after a bit of struggle.

that's exactly what I did.. uploaded again the skin files and now is working fine.

the IPB Skins file cannot be found (bottom warning), and this gives the white page. Make sure you have set the skin correctly in the module admin and that you have uploaded all files completely. Also, the IPB module isn't a XOOPS native module but a port, which means it uses a lot of it's own functions (the skins for instance). Make sure you read the full documentation for this module and see if you may have missed something there.
