Re: WYSIWYG editor - no not in my case.
The problem suddenly corrected itself after a few hours, so I assumed it was some sort of cache problem.
(although I had previously updated cache under prefs & my browsers cache with no luck). But it seems ok now.

I have XOOPS installed in a subdirectory off my main static html site. What do I do about the robots txt? Is it ok to have 2 lots or should I delete it?

I'm running v 2.09.2 One of my users (that I know of) who is also a moderator is having problems when they log out from moderator, the page say's "your logged out" etc but when it loads again they are still logged in and so can't re login as a user (instead of mod) We've checked the url in the favourites, tried clearing browser cache & history, and updated the system module but still have the problem.

Solved - cookies wern't cleared properly)

Hi,
Thanks I had already updated the modules and the phbb one twice. Then I looked in the phbb message board module's
admin panel and the solution was staring me in the face, I just hadn't noticed before - under "configuration" there's a box in which to insert the domain and it was set at mysite.com
so I put www. in front of it and that fixed it.

I was having double login problems and so changed the XOOPS url in mainfile.php tohttp://www.mysite.com instead ofhttp://mysite.com then I updated all the modules but on the phbb module all the topic links (all links) still point tohttp://mysite.com. How can I change them?

Help!
I did this and it worked ok except for the phpbb message board module - all the topic links etc all still point tohttp://mysite.com instead ofhttp://www.mysite.com - updated the module twice but no luck.

the problems with modules comes from the fact that when you change mainfile.php, you have to 'update' every module in the system admin -> modules page. This will propagate the changes in mainfile.php everywhere.

Hi
I am also having the double log in problem quite frequently as a newbie can someone clarify the above for me when you say "update" every module do you mean update them by clicking update in the admin control panel or do you mean edit them all manually as with the mainfile.php (I'm really hoping you mean through the control panel )

Doh! Oops I obviously can't read - I just read through again and it quite clearly say's "in the admin cp"

If you mean that xgal is making the left hand margin smaller (this happened to me with the "easy" theme coincidently also has a clock script) open your themes style sheet and look for something similar to this:

/* Main Table Columns */
#main {
width: 100%;
}

#leftColumn {
width: 12%;
vertical-align: top;
padding-right: 1px;

and adjust the width of the left column maybe by only a couple of percent or pixels, another thing I found was by playing around with blocks some of them will force the margin wider without having to play around with the style sheet.
Hope this helps.
