Both metatags and robots.txt file in your document root both assume the bot will be well mannered, and respect the settings therein. The bots that are important for SEO such as Google, Yahoo, AOL, Bing all respect both meta tags and the robots.txt requests.

The great Google god has utterd ITS voice from the heavEns.

Thou shalt hot have a password any longer.

Google has declared the war on the password instead of biometrics.

This is a plot to:

Do away with anonymous internet use,

Everyone on the web will be required submit their fingerprints to the new biometric regime whereas previously, criminal arrest was required.

To everyone in the open source community and hardware developers:

RESIST UNTO DEATH!!!

Firebug add-on for Firefox should display the directory the user attempted to access in the error.

This can be tricky if you do not delete the entire string associated with that IP (it is not just and IP but a string of different variables). Hopefully you have other IPs already banned you can look at to identify the entire string structure between delimiters.

That whole string and the delimiter to its right needs to go away, not just the IP address.

I just tried this on 2.5.6 and the article displayed okay, but when I went to render and print as pdf, the formatting was lost (bold,italic, fonts,color) and only generic black uniform text type/size displayed int the printed document.

Worse, black page divider lines are inserted into the document by the pdf writer that cut right across the text, so the pdf tool really hacks the document rendering up pretty good.

Outside of pdf print, I have found no other issues.

I was jamming their buzzword analyzer so that the message would escape detection of the fact that it was referring to them, while clearly relating who they were in the minds of the readers. They are very sensitive to criticism these days.

SPAM will waste processor power regardless of whether you expend those resources fighting and preventing it, or you allow the spam bots to consume the bandwidth by taxing your systems registration and posting processes.

The protector log is kept in the MySQL database table by the same name. Bad IP and Group IP settings are kept in files in the config directory under the Protector module installed in your xoops_lib protected area (you can manually set these in protect center, or they are set automatically by Protector if you set the Stop Forum Spam setting to Block IPs of users found to be coming from SPAM IP's).
