Hi, is there anyone who knows exactly how to deal with entering keywords to be found.

For any general info always consult Google.

For specific info about how to enter Meta Tags in XOOPS: page 62 of "XOOPS Operations Guide"

I have taken a print-out of the download manual , must have done that long ago.
I had a look this week at google hmm it is not for free
Could it be that I must have enter titel words at xoops, I think so because when you enter Fla-ts at google it find me.

Now you will say ... he is there again .... those lines in the download menu ... how ... I understand nothing of it .. unfortunately .. would have been nice

I already told you before Lambert, just use the menu module you already use for the main menu for making a second downloads menu. You don't have that many downloads so it's not much work

I know flipse, only I'm not so good at such changes, I'm afraid to cause damage to my website

Don't be afraid, adding a menu does no harm

Meta tags What would be the best choice, I do not understand it so well
i) index, follow
ii) no index, follow
iii) index, no follow and
iv) no index, no follow.

What does this mean, I don't understand it quit well:

‘Index’ asks robots to include this site in the search engine index; ‘No index’
asks them to exclude the site. ‘Follow’ asks robots to also look at pages linked
from the site, and ‘no follow’ asks them not to. Note that these are requests only
- the behaviour and policies of a robot are controlled by its masters. Not all
robots will recognise - or obey - these tags.

Both metatags and robots.txt file in your document root both assume the bot will be well mannered, and respect the settings therein. The bots that are important for SEO such as Google, Yahoo, AOL, Bing all respect both meta tags and the robots.txt requests.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

1) My metatag are seems to be mess up and Its keep showing the Xoops meta tag even changed to some related to the website in theme.html and even system update module. I can see the robot.txt but not metatag. Where can I find one ?

2) lost password is not seem to be working. When someone lost the password, its not emailing anything. And further showing this error
Errors
Could not instantiate mail function.
Confirmation email for Administrator mailed.

Where can I actually change the actual location of metatags in the root and lost password ?
