Frustration with IE, I'll take mozilla any day of the week

I've been hacking away at XOOPS and oscommerce trying to get a new look and something is really starting to bug me:
Things behave the way i'd expect (meaning look right) in Mozilla but IE just never comes out the same way, for ex. a certain number of tables I have aligned up appear ok in Mozilla but I just can't get the same result in IE.

...just venting some smoke off........

I actually use that AND .htaccess together. I guess I'm probably just being paranoid about security......

I have been using .htaccess but was wondering if there was some other way so that the admin's didn't have to login twice, once in XOOPS and another on .htaccess.

Hi
I am currently running phpstat (which I find excelent) and have a link to it only visible to admin's in XOOPS main menu. Right now, anyone can go into this directory directly and I would like to restrict access only to people coming from XOOPS through that particular link. Is this possible?

Temping, very tempting......

So, from your experiences with surpass i see most of you are happy with them.
From what i've read on their site and forum, price and service seem's unbeatable and latency/lag doesn't seem to be an issue with them.
How about uploading your XOOPS files, do any of you notice lag or constant server timeouts?

I'm very tempted, just concerned about lag.

How is surpass hosting in terms of stability and uptime? What is the ratio of sites per hardware server?
I'm very interested but am concerned about moving my client's sites and then finding out the sites are only available half of the time and laggy.

placing 2 columns in recent photos block for front page

I've been searching the forum for some info that could point me in the right direction regarding the subject.
I want to place a center block with 6 recent photos in 2 columns, and right now the 6 photos show up in 1 long column.
I'm using photo album 2.63
