this could be a mjor problem with my stuff...see because everything else works great, but a few strange quirky bugs through out. How can I discover more about this?

OK this seems useless, does it only work if the user does not log off?
It does not seem to be working. Are either of these hacks compatable with globals off. How com audrey's hack doesn't have a redirect and uses a change in kernal? What about the WHO's Onloine Block?

Ok guys Ive treid one of these versions...
(aud's) and it doesnt seem to uh work...but then I thought about something...inserting the code for the checkbox.....
should that be within the form tag? No one mentioned specifically...
but it seems like it should be or am i wrong? If thats not it I dont know really why it wont work?

I did not create users when I reinstalled a couple a months ago...I stopped the reinstall there and just used from db.
the top line on user php (ie: version)

This is very promising, but what about "whos online" will that still work Or will they forever be online? Also can someone please direct me to the most recent hack we were talking about...I uh sort of got lost in this thread and now I have a bunch of downloads that Im not sure about...

. I read somewhere this issue was fixed with the new version, but it is not...at least the patch didnt fix it...wondering if there was a file that changed related to this query and variable for "forum not selected".
