Hello,

I was asking if xoops could already work with PHP 6 ?

My hoster only give me access to php 5.2.17 or 6 beta... i tried with php 6 and xoops 2.5.1 but i got a xoops error page...

Mymenus with more than 1 block = bug ?

Hi all,

New system module corrected my bugs about cloning module, except for the module "mymenus"

As i choose to display a second block from this module, i got a blank page (with no possibility to see the debug mode)... That now makes 3 weeks and as i finish my site, i would like to solve it so that i could put it on line !

Your help will be welcome :)

I met the same problem...

I solved it by removing .htaccess file in uploads folder and

I already informed about this bug from htaccess file...

Just discover that i got a blank page for videotube with XOOPS 2.5.1

Here is the debug mode :

well, some people can uploads files in subfolders like news/ or extgallery/ ...

But i think it is not well done... why does it block my site to read files (pictures) uploaded on uploads folder?

Hi all,

Just to inform you that the .htaccess in "uploads/" folder make my files unaccessible... For example, the pictures of my slideshow (module slideshow) doesn't appear...

I had to remove the .htaccess !

Please have a look on it for next XOOPS releases (i think it happens since XOOPS 2.5.0)

Development Ideas for news/xnews :

=> Add a bloc to use as a menu. I mean, a block where we could make a multiple selection of categories to link/displays (from a list of cat and subcat, like for some news blocks), with an option to have :
- automatic subcategories as sublinks
- or last X (or even all) news as sublinks (with an order option by date or weight)

Exemple with subcat :
- Category 1
* subcat 1
* subcat 2
* subcat 3
- Category 3
* subcat 1
* subcat 2
- Category 7
* subcat 1
* subcat 2
* subcat 3
* subcat 4

Exemple with subcat :
- Category 1
* last news 1
* last news 2
* last news 3
- Subcat 2 (from category 3)
* last news 1
* last news 2
- Category 7
* last news 1
* last news 2
* last news 3
* last news 4

That would simplify menus updates for xoopser using news/xnews for their static pages (= content)

Hi all,

About slideshow module,

Could someone add an option an picture/link level, to choose the target of a link ?

Now, the links open by default on new page... it's not really functional !
