Here's the results after editing an existing article from the module admin side. It saved, but saved unparsed html.
When seeing this before, it was precurser to the article disappearing, but would format correctly after a screen refresh.
This doesn't format correctly even after a screen refresh.

Yeah it still deletes the article.
I changed to xbootstrap, I did a system and publisher module update, I created the article which displayed fine, I edited the thing from the user side, and it disappeared after save.

Purging caches all the while.

It's a publisher thing.

It IS still a usable module as far as I can tell. But there's no editing after you create an article at this point.

I tried with "just" the xbootstrap theme, and it is the same.
More troubling is after editing and saving an existing article, it disappears. The article is gone.

xoops 5.2.7.1
theme newoni-dark xbootstrap
php 5.5.29

I just installed the RC-2 version today. Install went without issues, creating an article went fine, when testing editing an existing article i encountered some css incompatibility, and a more serious issue that when editing an existing article it doesn't save correctly.
Also displays non-parsed html after attempting to save.

I'm pretty sure the css problem w/1st pic is all about the newoni-dark theme not adjusting to content size. At least in part. Tiny mce may have a min width req thats messing with display too.

I'm currently using 5.5.29.
Forward is always the preferred direction. But it's tough to give up some of the older mods w/o replacements that are production ready.

Details are needed.
What version of xoops?
what version of php?
What version mysql?
What modules are installed?
What are your php settings for url_fopen, globals, and memory/time limits?

xoobaru Thanks for the reply.
I was looking at performance.
Got a reseller's account and I've decided not to do the CF. I have system resources that need re-arranged. Much is reserved for future accounts. I have plans on maybe 2 more domains so the rest of the system should be able to be re-allocated to "my" account.
We'll see how it works out.

I agree with your Cloud assessment. Handing site security over to strangers has never been something I felt good about.
The downsides are obvious, but the thought of multiplying my capacity is tempting.

I block TOR users offhand. I have never had any honest traffic from a TOR node.

Updating the "FreeUndelete" link. It gets a lot of traffic apparently:
