Use the latest XOOPS releases - this old vulnerability was fixed last year, as it also states in the secunia report.

Read the 2.0.16 release notes about unsupported templates access - sounds like gijoe is one of the devs that uses hacks. I don't know, I don't use any of his modules.

The Document Management System module also supports Swish-E, though I haven't tried it myself.

The path to the module after unpacking it and moving it to the site folder is definitely correct? i.e. /modules/news/xoops_version.php ?

Fatal errorCall to a member function on a non-object in /www/htdocs/hellup/modules/smartfaq/class/faq.php on line 549

It's the fatal error that's causing the blank page. Can you paste the code from line 549 of /smartfaq/class/faq.php ? Someone could probably help you then.

My guess, without seeing the code or knowing anything about the module, is that it's specific to your php version.

That FAQ is a bit old, it looks like it was written when php 4.3.10 was just released. I don't think it's useful these days - it would be quite unlikely that someone still uses those old versions of php and the zend optimiser together.

This particular error is a bug with the Formulize module, you can see it in the path of the error message.

The title change didn't show on the front page, trying again...

Excellent bug report Unfortunately I don't know the module, so I'm changing the title of this thread and hope someone more knowledgeable sees it.

Otherwise I suggest following the link to the formulize development site in the news post (or was it in the comments?...) where you should be able to find someone to help.

To save your data use a program like phpmyadmin.

It would be good to know why you get a blank page. Did you try the blank page FAQ suggestions, to try to display an error message?

If you just want to go back to 2.0.13.2 backup your data and files and then just upload the 2.0.13.2 files again to your site.

No need to 'downgrade', the advice has been that there will be upgrade paths from both 2.0.x and 2.2.x to the next version.
