Hey thanks but what file or files need to be edited?

I do not understand what the ' è ora ' characters are. Should that be ' = '?

I was using xoopspoll 1.0 successfully until I upgraded to PHP 5.1.6 and it broke.

I deactivated it, uninstalled it, deleted the module folder, cleared all the cache and template_c files, recreated my cache/adminmenu.php file AND made sure the old db tables were gone from the database.

Then I installed the lates version 1.1.

I have the same issue I had with 1.0. Can not edit, delete, or add a new poll.

Any suggestions?
I REALLY need a simple poll module for my portal.

Hey now that sounds like a plan.....Unless the path issue is stored in the DB. Could that be possible? What would happen if I just backed up the datbase using the Backup & Resore XOOPS Module and simley restore the database after the fress install? Do you think that would be easier / cleaner? I am not that versed in phpMyAdmin, but I know someone who could help if this is really the best way to approch it.

I will let you know how it goes. I am not sueing type, I take rsponsibility for my own my data :)

Thanks again - Technobia!

Hey Bender, thanks for the tip, Sorry it took so long to get back been putting out fires :).

Anyway, I upgaded weblinks module what i thought was the lates version, 1.12 and there was a path problem. instead of mysite.com/modules/weblinks.... for all the catagory links the module was defaulting to the root domain: mysite.com/viewcat.ph?....etc.

I found that version 1.13a had a fix for that so I upgraded again but that did not resolve the issue. It did work however in a fresh installation.

I can not afford to uninstall the module and re-install it and risk loosing months of work and thousands of links!

I am literally days away from the launch date.

Any ideas out there?

Hi have an installation of XOOPS 2.0.14 with Weblinks 0.93 that has over 2000 links in the database. We recently upgraded PHP from 4.3.11 to 5.1.6 and are running MySQL 4.1.

I just noticed that when I look at the Weblinks directory I see all the categories and sub-categories but when I click on ANY of them I get a message:

"No matches found to your query"

Or when I try to do a search for items I know exist, the search the results page comes up blank. The other issue is debug has never worked properly so I can not even do that. REF POST: Debug Mode Issues

I have gone into the db via phpMyAdmin and I see the tables and the data. I have updated the module and ran the XOOPS backup and Optimize modules but none of that helped.

I am days away from launching this site an it has taken literally months to build the links db.

I am freaking out here!

I was using the WebLinks 1.12 module version in XOOPS 2.0.15 as posted, with PHP 5.1.6 MySQL 4.1.

I went back to the WebLinks 0.93 version it is working fine. Since I will be using this module in a limited capacity anyway, this version will work fine for my needs.

RE: WebLinks Module ver. 1.12 in XOOPS ver 2.0.15

Although I am logged in as the webmaster and have permissions to create a catagory, I get the following error message when I try to create the initial first catagory.

"ERROR: Category is not selected"

It does not matter if I select 'Not create a link under this' or 'Create a link under this'

Any Suggestions?

I have a few XOOPS sites that seem to work fine except when I enable debug mode to troubleshoot a module, I can not access any pages, they go blank.

I then have to mannually access the site via the admin.php page in order to get back in to the preferences to disable debug mode. The behavior is the same regardless of selecting either inline or popup modes.

I do not have this issue with 2.0.13 sites only 2.0.14 and 2.0. 15 sites.

Any ideas?

I figured it out. It was one of the UNINSTALLED modules, RM-Gallery 1.1. I noticed in the remaining part of the code that there was some Spanish. I thought it must be a module and not part of the native install. So, by process of elimination removed all the uninstalled module folders from the modules directory. When I took that one out the problem went away. When I put it back, it returned.

I will dig further if I decide to use that gallery module.

Thanks for your help!
