Hello,

I gave it a shot, but it looks like the links to the module are only visible to the webmaster.

One thing: Unless Auto Approve Submissions is activated in the Preferences section, all submissions (including the webmaster's) have to be manually approved in the Admin section.

Amazon Contextual Ads in Blocks and Posts

I know that Amazon has a new contextual ad feature that adds relevant product links to your site's text,as well as their Omakase link script, but I came across something that looks a bit more promising and versatile.

TicTap Contextual Ads allow you to create context blocks for your site that can be displayed in your left or right column. There's also a likelihood that the ads can be placed within articles and posts using div tags if you follow some of the tips you'll find here and also here

Not too sure what you mean by no file category to choose from. Do you mean the mimetypes? Have they been set?

XOOPSInfo module 2.12 and News 1.53 bug

Experienced this problem on several sites and just spoke to a friend who has the same problem.

When these two modules are installed, we get the following error whenever we post an article in the admin section:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare adminmenu() (previously declared in /xxxxx/webradio/modules/news/admin/functions.php:39) in /xxxxx/webradio/modules/xoopsinfo/include/functions.php on line 15


The only way to post articles is to deactivate the info mod.

Has anyone else experienced this, and are there any fixes?

Try this module:https://xoops.org/modules/repository/singlefile.php?cid=84&lid=1437 . You may want to go to the developers site for the latest version.

Question: If you only want to show the latest articles from a specific topic designated in the news module on your site, and you want it displayed on your site, why not just set up a recent news block to display only articles from the specific topic?

Been a while since I've messed with that, but if I remember correctly, it's either in the preferences for the Extended Profiles module, or in its administration section.

How large are the files, and what file size restrictions does your web host have? Also, how large are the file submissions set in the module's preferences?
