no it not that,

what I want is a listing directory like MXdirectory but a few more features, like:

if you create groups in XOOPS the module will have different permissions on the submit

to explain it clear I would create a group called Gold Users and in the Module I would set the Gold Package to only allow Gold Users to be able to submit and no other category.

Then I would like to add Site Sponsor the feature of banner ads input on the submit form of mxdirectory so it all in one form.

The last version ever created of this module was 2.2.3, it was never released to the public and the email address in the xoops_version.php file is no longer active, but you already know that because it was you that signed up that email address for a bunch of SPAM and Subscription lists. I know this because of your IP address.

Kind of funny the one who ruined it for all is now the one that needs the support the most. If you want the lastest module and it fixed then pay me $50.00 for my time I spent fixing this with all the updates.

I am already using that but I want more features, it looks like I will be hiring a programmer to customize this the way I want it.

I am wondering if anyone has ever developed a module that is for advertising only.

Something that allows them to purchase different packages, and have access to such features once payment is made.

I am thinking about the banner ads, and text links. I want the site to be as much hands off as possible so I can focus on advetising it myself.

If there is one out there please let me know, if not anyone interested in dev one?

u do have a back up of your entire site right?

First rule ALWAYS do a COMPLETE back up of your ENTIRE site BEFORE you take step one of your upgrade.

also check to make sure you are allowing HOTLINKING in your config of your server. might be allowed for local host but not for Ip or domain name

there used to be a module called subsite that did what you are thinking I dont know how upto date it is now...
