Whoops.. Disregard what i said about html not working. I missed the option of supporting both and now i enabled it and it works fine.

However, there is still a page creation problem. When i type CamelCase it doesn't creates a link. And if i make a link manually pointing to something like "http://www.libervis.com/wikimod/index.php?page=NewPage" it leads me to the "not found" error instead to the form for creating a new page.

I believe it's not a big bug..

As you see, i am still evaluating the two modules. Both look great. Wiwi is more featurefull and wikimod is "slicker" as you said yourself :)

Thank you
Daniel

@Zeniko:

It's not like i can't without them, but i like the features provided with Xaviers wiwimod.. On his forum he told me that you sent him your module and he says that there will be xoopscode support in wiwimod soon. That practically makes wiwimod my current best choice..

I am having both modules installed right now and wikimod supports xoopscode fine, but doesn't supports html (not that much needed however). It also doesn't recognize CamelCase and has problems creating new pages.. just wanted to let you know if you'd want to fix that.

@phppp: It's great news as wakka looks pretty nice.. hm.. maybe i try it out once again..

The thing is that i need a working and stable wiki module ASAP so i choose better, but also the fastest improving mod.

Thank you guys
Daniel

Hm.. i just got an idea.. Why don't you Zeniko and Xavier join forces and work on one wiki module instead of two very similar ones.

The bugs you have currently seem not to be very serious ones and with enought time and some effort all can be quickly squashed.

The wiwimod is based on wikimod, but offers more choices for editing (spaw, htmledit and xoopstandard) and also has some other very nice features. I believe it would be therefore better to join forces on wiwimod for the sake of better support and developing the best and at the same time simple and easy to use wiki system for xoops.

I would be interested in helping you both by doing what i can such as testing and reporting bugs.

What do you think?

Thank you
Daniel

Hey zeniko..

Sorry for not replying for so long.. i wasn't subscribed for the thread and forgot to check it as Xavier provided a patch to allow for functionality i was looking for.

However, as Xaviers wiwimod is currently experiencing some bugs and the xoopseditor he put inside doesn't supports xoopscode (it doesn't renders it on the page) i am trying yours.

I am wondering if you are going to continue to develop and support wikimod further than this? I ask because, until now, it seemed like a dead project..

Thank you
Daniel

Thank you very much carnuke.

I did that and it's great, the border is gone. I also had to change the "legend.blocktitle" class to "div.blocktitle" in CSS file because i changed it from "legend" to "div" in html's as you said.

Thanks
Daniel

How to remove a border from xoops default theme?

Hello..

This is rather quick question. I believe there should be someone here that knows the answer.

I am building my own theme out of the default one and to be the official theme for my site and licenced as GPL so that i can give it for free download as GPL while i can't do that with even modified version of the currently used 7dana-jane theme because their licence forbids it.

So, how to remove that border around all center blocks.. There is one border inside for which i know where it is in CSS, but i couldn't find that outside border around the whole block.

I need to remove it so that it displays block as usuall with the full blocktitle over the whole block head.

Thank you
Daniel

Yes.. but it seems not to work in xoops.. If i'd be looking for a general wiki system (not integrated in xoops) i would be using mediawiki right away (it powers wikipedia).

Thanks though
Daniel

Thank you for offering this Zeniko, but Xavier (the author of wiwimod has just provided a hack that adds XOOPS editor option besides htmlarea and spaw so i'll try that now..

However, i believe there would be others interested in your hack, the ones who already use wikimod or are considering it due to it's simplicity..

Thank you
Daniel

Yes, wiwimod seems to actually be the only one "officiall" being supported by someone..

But i just don't like the slugishness of it's heavy htmlarea wysiwyg editor. If it could only have a "none" option besides spaw and html area for editing pages..

Thanks
Daniel
