Is it possible to add a feature to mydownloads module that comes with xoops? A feature that will show an estimated time that it will take to download the file from 56k, 640k broadband, 1.5Mb broadband and so on.

Somebody is sending a mail via Contact Us Form from my website, although I only allow registered users to access Contact Us Form. They send some annoying messages because they can edit their name and email address inside the form. Is there a way/hack that will not allow my users to edit the Name and Email field?

Regards

You may tryhttp://www.flexwindow.com/ I haven't tried it with XOOPS but it was perfect with stand alone. If it will not work inside the XOOPS blocks, your option is to create a page and IFRAME it in the block.

Hope this will help

ajaxbr,

Thank you for giving me an idea. Though it is easy to edit the mylinks_link.html, I may not do it if users are able to reach it.

If it is tricky to restrict that only the submitter can edit the link, with my zero knowledge in PHP it may be easier for me to just ignore any modify link request for the links they do not own. My web site just started a couple of weeks ago. It can be a problem someday if my website gets bigger.

I hope that this feature is available with XOOPS someday.
