In forums admin there is a set of permissions that you can set for each forum. You can set there the group rights of who can view the forum the forum there. admin->forum->forums then select the forum you want to change permissions for.

I used the prune option in newbb 2. I wanted all the pruned posts and threads to go to a different forum for review before final deletion. The prune worked fine, the number of posts and threads shows up in the designated forum, but they are not there. They cannot be viewed. I really need some help please.

OK, so now I have upgraded to 2.0.9.1. Now I would like to update to Newbb 2.0. Is it ok to make the Newbb upgrade after the XOOPS upgrade?

Newbb 2 and MSN

I have noticed that I cannot post to forums using Newbb 2 from my MSN software (in other words MSN ISP using MSN software). I can't post here or at one of my sites using Newbb2.

However, I can post from the same computer (this one) using IE and a different ISP.

I don't know if this has been reported but thought someone might like to know.

Wrapping XML

I have several xml documents that I would like to search and view from xoops. None of the wrappers I have tried seem to work with xml. For example I get a blank page when I wrap xml in Tiny Content.

Is there a solution to this problem that anyone is aware of. Currently I have the documents in an Iframe but that is not a real adequate solution.

Soapbox is one of the best modules for XOOPS except for the above mentioned bugs. Will there be any further development on this module? I hope someone says yes, please!
