That is one hell of a compliment!!

I'm just really happy that we have such a great engine to build our modules on. (xoops) I think the XOOPS team has done a tremendous job allowing us to focus on building modules that will help us all make some money with our websites.

I hope we're able to help all those small website owners begin to generate some income.

Thanks for catching that! I thought I got all those buggers but 1 or 2 always seem to escape especially when programming at 2:00 am

that is now fixed and included in the downloads.

I've been thinking about that myself. In fact I have 2 clients that have requested that feature and I've accomodated them by creating a second listing. It's not the best method but It's the only way I can do it for now without passing up revenue.

There would have to be some additional fields to the DB in order to accomodate multiple categories so I'm waiting until I have the bandwidth to work on that feature.

The version of xDirectory currently running on my site(Jan 21, 2004) is still in beta testing. The release version should be out in mid Feb. (I'm going on a much needed vacation for a couple of weeks returning in mid feb)

If you can create a wish list with bullet points. It will give me a clearer idea of what you're looking for and i'll be able to tell you if I can get to it in the next couple of months.

This is a module I was planning to create @ April-May since I have a need for it as well.

I haven't had any problems getting a really good ranking on google, yahoo, aol, msn, etc.

as long as you have the content to support the keywords being searched you should be good.

I couldn't see the page, but I think I know what the problem is. The link in the file: templates/xdir_viewcat.html is hard coded so if you install XOOPS in a subdirectory and not the root - example:http://www.somebusiness.com/xoopsroot/
it will not work.

To fix this.
replace this line(@ line #7):
<a href="/modules/xdirectory/submit.php">Submit a Listing</a></div>

with this:
<a href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/xdirectory/submit.php">Submit a Listing</a></div>

THis is an issue I've worked out in the new version as well as some others.

I'm back. I've been in meetings the last two days so I've only been able to check my messages but not reply.

I've received some really good feedback so far from the current beta testers and I'm working on getting those changes implemented in the next couple of days.

I'll do another round of testing with the fixed version and expand my testers to those that have shown interest here in this forum.

Wow, That's pretty close to Folsom! Where did you move to? I didn't find your new location on your user profile. (of course that was before xoops.org killed access to it)

Thanks for the compliment on my site! Comparing my site to Dravens work is very flattering. He's done a great job on all three sites he's launched here.
