Just create and insert in css file, your own class.

Example 2 Try

h1#MyNewsArticleText {
font-style:normal;
font-weight:normal;
font-size:0.8em;
color: #555;
text-decoration: none;
margin-top: 5px;
margin-bottom: 5px;
line-height: 1.5em;
}

and add in your news_item.htm template file, where you previously changed p -> h1, and exchange the class of the tag from -> your self created class MyNewsArticleText

Quote:

Old
<h1 class="itemText">

New
<h1 class="MyNewsArticleText">

Are your template files updated? You have a setting under Sys Admin -> Prefereneces -> General Preferences , that asks if you want to have template files automatically updated. This will need to be on. Just in case, you may want to go into you template_c directory, and delete the theme templates by hand. The most effective I believe

And when browsing your code I noticed this:
Quote:

<!--
istat = new Image(1,1);
istat.src = "http://creforum.net/modules/istats/include/counter.php?sw="+screen.width+"&sc="+screen.colorDepth+"&referer="+escape(document.referrer)+"&page="+location.href;
//-->

At the beginning you state to have changed refer to referer, and in the above quote I see this:
&referer="+escape(document.referrer

Hope this helps

I believe JMorris got the question wrong, while providing a valid answer (that hopefully will answer someone elses questions).

The parent is asking for changing the size of a pages font rendering. This is done via stylesheet switching.

I use the UC Berkeley liquid theme, which has this integrated.
Have a look athttp://jason.jayro.net.

I have named the links
- Cramped
- Conventional
- Considerable
...just to be different

You may want to take a look at this theme, and see if it helps you.

ps: I'm currently integrating WF sections into my site (even if one shouldn't do so with a beta-I know, but I'm confident and backed-up), so please excuse the mess!

The Search function is your friend.

More like your girl-friend:
- never does as one asks
- always wants, and has to get it her way
- tries to change EVERYTHING you do
- and can cost you heaps of money (depending on your ISP plan )

I wish people would stop giving that kind of answer. Maybe as a side note, if something seems really stupid. At least Le grande Don had the grace to post a link, which serves educational purposed (as it displays a search stratgey people might not have thought off).

And besides, trying to find something in the forums......it's just sad to indirectly loose the info gathered. Though this is not a XOOPS specific issue. Just wanted to get it of my heart (as they say)

By the way: DonXOOPS was trying to point you to this Weather Block download. Just in case you missed it

And a few details on your last steps, just before you started getting those errors.

Main thing is, you got your site back up and running.

I admit, trying to tweak XOOPS at first, without any knowledge of the applications internals, can be quite daunting. You wont believe how often I had brought my site to a crash, just due to tupid litlle mistakes. Take a read through the Wiki link I posted, and you will quickly gain a much better understanding.

Though once you have gotten yourself aquainted, it will be as fast as hand scripting, only far more powerfull.

XOOPS still has a lot to fix, but it is definetly on the right track.

Glad to hear, that you are now happy with your XOOPS powered system. If there should be any trouble, just come in and ask the community. If some one can offer adive, they will try their best.

Regards
