IStat not updating!

I already follow the instructions in xoop2install.txt - followed exactly.

The time on the server is in real time but something else is null.

The stat looks like this below:

It is on netfirm.com server.

I already read the forum and already deleted theme.html in template_c but no luck.

Anybody can help?

Are you aware, that the admin isn't counted? Meaning, if you hope to see a change in the counter, when you yourself visit the site, I have to diapoint you.
Logout, and visit your site as regular user. Then logon again, and check if there where changes.

As with smdcom, I have it installed, as you, followed all instructions, and have no poblems. Therefore, this is the only issue I can think of, that might be causing your problem.

I did insert those into theme.html and also code for style.css

Everything is done accordingly... from the xoops2_install.txt

FYI I have XOOPS 2.7 installed.

Nothing happen.

Now I am gonna try the second opinion above

Thats not all that important - in the sense of making the module work. The author had just included this part, to remind people of Privacy Issues (I guess).

BTW: I am also using 2.0.7 (as this is what I assume you meant).

Another issue, do all folder have the correct permissions set? Meaning, not only the changes given in the instructions, but are all the other folder set to 755 and files to 644?

i done the above as you said tried both but it still dosn't update i need help i am running it local but it still should work right

I have the same problem, no updates.

my default theme is phpkaox, there are many selectable themes in my setup, in the prefernece selectable themes section my default choice is also phpkaox.

do I have to insert the above mentioned html into ALL selectable themes to make it work ?

Yes, or the counter wont know about the movements, as soon as somone choses a theme, different to your selected default.

I am still not getting it! the count has changed from 0 to 1 and stay there. Now I have printed out the xoop2_install.txt and checked every thing on the list:
Chmod, add classes in ALL .css files in the themes subdirectory(to make it simple, I cut down the themes into three as the default installation), add footers in ALL html files in themes subdirectory. Whatelse I need to do? Oh yes, some where in one of the messages says i need to delete the xxx^theme.html in the template_c subdirectory, which I did and I saw new html has been generated by the system. Also, I have log on not as admin/webmaster, but created a user to log in/out several times. all my main subdirectory has been set 755 and the files there 644 except the cache directory in the istat subdirectory is 777 and config.php 666

BTW: does this module count the Anon traffic? cause I allow all Anon's to look at the newbb, news etc but not posting.
