I have recently created a series of maps on maps.google.com and saved them under "My Maps".

Has anyone integrated these maps into Xoops? I have tried Google Maps (it seems like I have to create all my points manually in the module rather than referencing or importing from google.com) or myiframe (using the latest version, it generated a javascript error from google.com; 'GMapsApplication' Undefined)?

Why do you want to change a variable name?

Here's how it looks in theme.html (default)

Thanks skenow.

I've tried a similiar format with single and double quotes. No luck.

From my original post, a portion of my include string isnt resolved and simply rendered as text upon output.

I'm adding Goolge's Ad Sense to my site in the CBB section. I'd like to compartmentalize the code so I created a file called adsense.html.

Now in various newbb templates, I want to include this file however I'm having problems getting it working (note inserting the ad sense code directly into the template files works). My Syntax is:

Quote:
<{include file='<{$xoops_url}>/modules/<{$xoops_dirname}>/adsense.html'}

When viewing the pages all I see is:

Quote:
/modules/newbb/adsense.html'}>

Any suggestions?

First I want to state that I'm a begginer, and it's a quite possible that module that I want allready exist, but I didn't find it in the Module Repository. Also my English is't exelent, so I hope that you will unedrstend me.
This is what I want, so please if modul for this purpose exist write me a link.
Basicly I want a database modul. In the flies database I will create sections like dry flies, wet flies, steramers etc. In each section I will insert flies with description.
Users will see and do next:
When they click on the link on main meny, they will get links for sections. Afeter clicking on some section thay will get the list of files. Clicknig on some fly thay get page with it's picture and in block or somethig like description. This is a tricky part. I want in description colums like hook: , under it body: etc. This will look like block on the Module Repository. There is a block for each modul, on the right, whith parts Version: Downloads
File Size: Home Page etc. Basicly what I want looks like Module Repository, without download, and picture insted!
THX!

I am, also looking for such a module. I have sent a design document request to Inbox Solutions for estimates. It would be great for us to split the cost of the module. Let me know if yo are interested!

I'm looking to use the module on my fly fishing site www.nyctroutbums.com

I went back and checked and it looks like (at least at one time) Marcan was on xoopslance.com. Here's his link

I have a request for a custom XOOPS module. I posted this request on Xoopslance.com and havent received any offers.

I created a design document (I can email it to you) in order to spec out as much of it as I could to help the developers who wanted to work on it. I am not a XOOPS developer so something may be missing. If so, you can contact me for details. Although the document is long, it is as thorough in what is required.

I dont have an unlimited budget, but am willing to compensate either the developer or collect fees for each isntance and when it's paid off release it to the open source.

This module seems to be pretty straight forward as it will act and look like MyLinks/MyFiles.

Thanks jdseymour!

I just ran my IP through the page you provided and it looks like a reverse DNS lookup fails. I have submitted a ticket with my ISP.

THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE!

I'll let you know how it progresses.

Kurt

jdseymour:

This worked!!! The reverse PTR fix resolved the issue (I wasnt able to update modules within the Admin section).

Now it works perfectly.

Thanks again!
Kurt
