"Last login" not updated?

I'm using version 2.0.13.2.

I've noticed that "last login" does not reflect the actual date of the most recent login for some of my members.

No big deal, really, but I see no-one else has mentioned this. For instance, "last login" for one member who has posted several times in the last couple days is given as early September, whereas it is now December.

Is this a bug, can it be fixed?

Run a search on date problem or login date problem - it has beeen noticed and discussed a number of times. Not sure off the top of my head what the solution is and it would depend on your setup before anyone could guess. How about as a starting point updtating to 2.0.16?

Thanks for your response. I did do a search beforehand, but found nothing that seemed germane; and searching on "date problem" and "login date problem" yields nothing that appears to be relevant.

This is not enough of an issue to warrant a version upgrade. If it ain't broke, etc etc.

I'm wondering why it happens for some users and not for others though. But I'm not losing any sleep over it.

I have noticed this as well with 2.0.13.2.

I also searched but didnt find an posts but this one....

Did you find an answer?

Nope.

Obviously it's a minor issue. Still, it would be nice if it worked properly.

Thanks but all that points back here. ANyone have any real success getting this resolved? Somewhere someone said it could be tied to cookies at the user end. If so, why would the last login date be saved anyways?
