I don't know why Microsoft even bother. They claim that IE7 will be all about security but that's obviously a lie because all software the Microsoft creates is about as secure as a piece of paper.
One thing that really pisses me off about IE7 is that it can't be installed alongside IE6. This is incredibly annoying for web developers who wish to test their code in different browsers.
IE7 also doesn't work with many of the CSS hacks used for making IE5+6 display pages correctly, while it only fixes a few of the problems that create the need to use the hacks in the first place.
In a few months, when IE7 is released, it looks like we're going to have to redesign our webpages for yet another bloody browser.
So the main players in the browser market are gonna be:
Firefox
Safari
Opera 8
IE 5+6
IE7
As if semantic web design wasn't already difficult enough!
