umm all done JD, 50/50 anyway.

Installed and upgraded ok and it shows all my categories but that's it, only the categories.

I tried sync but just get "Could not get post ID"

I think I may have to convert back as I have now lost over 100 posts!

You should be able to upgrade automagically.

silly question but, I do this just by plonking the contents of CBB 2.32 into my existing newbb folder then admin > modules > should be an upgrade where install was right?

Just make sure you do a backup before attempting, so there is no chance of loosing anything.

I have just backed up the MySQL database in my cpanel, is that ok?
thanks for your help btw JD

Thanks for that JD, if I click the info icon where you have the install button etc in modules etc the screen scrolls up telling me it's version 1

The forum itself has a very small grey "new" post button on the top right of thecategories.. it's real ugly looking! lol

hmm... this is strange and maybe someone will know!..

as above, I deleted my template_c, other language folders and also all the themes that come with 2.2.3a fin.. so all I had was one theme `Corporate`

I played some games last night, turned the machine off and went to bed at about 4:15am this morning, I have now just uploaded the default them and checked the template_c folder again and it was packed! some 188 files/whatever they are was in there, so I deleted them all and now I can log back in to admin!

Man! this is crazy!... all this just for adding 120 pics!

Hi all,

I have a plain white screen when trying to log in to admin section, All has been fine and have been using XOOPS for weeks and weeks on version 2.2.3a finale
(upgraded from 2.0.9.2 for over a year)

Last things I did was to add 120 images to Content, plain .jpg's and cleaned out my template_c ... I also deleted all he other language folders in all my other modules to try and get some more space.

I have used recovery.php and get NO errors on screen and everything seems to work thing. apart from admin... just whiye page!

Hi all,

I was wondering if there is a way to create an account called "test" with the password "test" that would give everyone logging in with those details Registered Users access?

So, someone wants to join but instead of creating there own account they can use a test account that will reset every 60 mins and maybe use a different password from a list?

Like a try before you buy options! lol

or would people just use the test accounts and not bother registering?

Or fix it so that a single IP address can only use the test account once for a 60 minute period then will have to register or stay as Guest???

Any ideas/suggestions??

Many Thanks

Fruity
