I have install the e-xoops 1 time but no like the TREE MENU in left side ( UGLY LOOK ) and also I not see any serious activity of upgrade the system in future , as I believe there is only 1 1/2 developer - ?

I did get good help in forum of e-xoops from community -
but I saw more professional activity on orginal Xoops.org webside and change my mind - later I find out I made the right choice so I stay here .....

I also best belive e-xoops people and the developer was better to merge back to XOOPS and work in 1 team -

but this is my private view - ( smile) but realistic

I have posted several questions regarding same - about Imenu - if upload - the imenu not show up - same with multimenu - all other modules work perfect, so maybe we now must ask a developers attention to find out if this is becourse a XOOPS 2.06 bug - or how -

since Imenu developer stop work on future vertions- why not XOOPS put this code inside XOOPS in future vertions so users get a more handy and easy portal to operate.

at this moment I cant fix this problem myself - as I have try all options I have -

if a XOOPS developer ( viking from Denmark" Mithrandir ") are interrested to ftp up on my web account and look - he is welcome - as I believe we need try find the problem -

( can also be a confligt with another installed module posible who block but I am not sure - I have uninstall many to see but still get same )

I was wondering if someboddy have work on a news groups gateway via xoops, so I can offer newsgroups to only members who pay - must have followng options : allow users to read usenet messages, post usenet messages, search the messages,.

very good question.
I have several users who use XOOPS who just had ask for the same as we use icq a lot for business communication, as Icq also have a server vertion to networks.

we hope the best - we wil get it or like a option to activate

why you not like compair Postnuke with XOOPS - (or php-nuke) since most of Xaraya team is Postnuke people - or jumping from Postnuke -

also Postnuke new theme editor is a renamed vertion of · Encompass - from the ENVOLUTION.COM CMS who is compatible with all themes from PHP-NUKE,Postnuke,encompass, and AutoTheme .
and is a copy of Postnuke - and postnuke is a copy of php-nuke - and XOOPS must be coming via this way too - somehow in start of development I not know.

Just some updates, but in general a compair of many CMS vs XOOPS are not interrsting let people find out what they like themself - better use your energy develop on xoops.

yes , you right just 1 level ( old fashion ). I was glad to see you not speak no - but understand this subject is a " much have option" and hope full you will change mind soon so you wil surprise XOOPS users to get sub categorys - as I see no way out - or just be behind later........,-))))

You absolute right, but if look other places in the forum , I begin Post warning about this subject - but the only reply we get " HEY IT WORK ON MY SITE" good , fine, thank you - but is not a solution, problem is " imenu and multimenu" not work on sevral xoops2.06 systems - and there are maybe many more out there who have same problem but no like post message in forum -

maybe we can get a list of the modules from some people who have imenu working, so we can compair the list and see if maybe there is a confligt with a module who block the system to work with the 2 menu moduls - ( just 1 idea ) maybe you have another to track this problem

I hope we will get some intelligent serious programmers to look into it, with so many users claim it is not working we simpley need act professional and look more deep into the problem - I do what I can to help ... but I am not a programmer - I am more a program editor ...

so let us try find this error -

thanks for reply so quickly , if you read the post down the line Posted on: 2004/3/25 14:36 you wil see that I report a problem with multimenu - it had same truble as imenu.

I have no truble with other modules, I even uninstall a few modules too se if there was a confligt somewhere, but did not help - so like a few others I can read have same problem

I also check the HDD space on system -

I hope we can locate where it is - as the upload of the modules is correct made -

I hope some body maybe later read this and maybe know the problem -
