i have a backup i made last night but i cant upload it cause im not the hoster. I have the back up file though in my computer. Is there anyway to extract the mainfile.php from this?? targz file??

My site, boashouse.com was running at .15 xoops. I saw the new .16 version so i downloaded the file, deleted the install folder and uploaded the htdocs folder to the server. I'm done uploading but all i get is this.

Not Found
The requested URL /modules/news/install/index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.37 Server at www.boashouse.com Port 80

Please help. I do not know what I did wrong. I cannot access my site nor my administration menu.

PHP version 4.4.2
MySQL version 4.1.21-standard
Kernel version 2.6.9-42.0.3.ELsmp
Apache version 1.3.37 (Unix)
PERL version 5.8.7

Hi. I am trying to edit my template to delete the subcategories of my "myalbum-p" module as stated here , but I am VERY confused on how to edit the templates. GIJOE's explanation doesnt seem that clear, and I searched XOOPS on ho w to edit templates but there was no "clear" step by step explanation. In one topic, someone just said duplicate it, and the next person says yay it worked...

I tried cloning my templates and editing the cloned templates but there was no change, the change GIJOE said would happen if i erased the specified portion of the categories template of the myalbum-p module. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could explain the template editing process (general) for me in a step by step, specific fashion.

Best Gallery Module?

I'm looking for a good gallery module that will support thumbnails as well as sections and sub sections in a very organized fashion. I tried using myalbum but the thumbnails all changed to distorted colors and the menus were very unorganized especially when there was several subsections.

Some features i would like..
Somewhat like a windows My Pictures folder where you can have several folders that contain photos as well as subfolders that contain more photos with thumbnails. Batch upload available if possible.


Since theres so many gallery modules out there, please tell me the best gallery module you have used or recommend!

Hi. About two weeks ago, my site recieved a major hacking. I managed to get it up and running again. Everything seemed to working apart from the discography CD BASE module.

It worked fine for a year and a half till my site got hacked. If I click on a song, this is all it shows.. two rows of periods.

But the thing is, if I go under the discography under admin menu, all the lyrics are there just as before. So it seems like its a script error thats holding it from showing.

My current XOOPS version is 2.0.14. I would greatly appreciate your help! Thanks.
