Im using wf-downloads and would like to change it so that when a user clicks the link to download a file, it will prompt them to either open from the current location, or save to disc. Can anyone make a suggestion as to what I need to change, or at least point me in the right direction?

xhelp mail: what is the "mailbox" supposed to be?

I'm having problems with xhelp .07 running a search on the mailboxes.

I think it may be due to not entering the right information when I search for mails to add.

First, I've got my cron job set as:
/usr/bin/wget -/dev/null -/dev/null -q http://www.mywebsiteurl/xoopsinstallfolder/modules/xhelp/checkemail.php

And I think that is working (according to my hosting tech support dude.

However, when I go to mail events, it shows "no mail events found", so I try "search" for them.

In the "Search Mail Events" screen, Im presented with text boxes for:

Mailbox
Description
Begin Date
End Date

What should I enter for the "Mailbox" and description? I've tried using the department name, the email address name, and usernames...but no matter what I do, i can not get any emails to show up with the search.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Ryan

Im not sure if this is what your looking for, but....

Go to your SysAdmin | Modules | news | Preferences.

Under Module Config Options, you'll see a line: "Select Yes to display navigation box at the top of each news page", change teh value to "NO".

Im using wf-downloads right now, and I really really need to be able to assign a document number with a predefined prefix when a file is uploaded.

Like if I had external and internal documents, when "project1" was uploaded, and I had it set to be an "External" document, i would want the file title numerically assigned with an "E" prefix, so it would be called something like: E000024.[extension]

Do any of you hippies know anything that may be available with this functionality?

I seem to remember that it was much more powerful than the mantis module. It was made of of several different modules....I'll check it out again though.

A few months ago I downloaded a large package of tools used to manage bugs that was either created, or ported to xoops. This package was very much like the tracking system used at source forge and the dex . XOOPS site; however I can no longer find it.

Could someone please toss me a Link?

Thanks,

Ryan
