Can not edit "Blocks or Modules" on my sites

My problem has only just appeared after upgrading from XOOPS 2.0.13 to XOOPS 2.0.17.1 RC2

I can access my site (www.slcwebdev.co.uk/tractiontime) and login although sometimes it kicks me out again prompting me to log in even though i have now changed the config to use "Custom Sessions".

I have got preety much everything working now but i now have a major problem in the fact that now i can not change any setting in both the blocks and modules pages.

In Modules admin the pages load and i am presented with all installed modules but if i want to change the weight of the module or dissable it i cant, i make the changes and click the Submit button to apply the changes and it just takes me back to the "System Configuration" page without any errors or using the redirect page. This is also exactly the same problem when editing Blocks.

Anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this please?

Is anybody able to offer any help as to why the code below does not work as this would be a great SEO addition to XCgal.

Thanks for the feedback on this guys, I have just started to get these errors since my host has upgraded to PHP ver 5.1.4

I'm using XOOPS version 2.0.13.2 and NewBB ver 1.13

The fix below can be found in /modules/newbb/language/english/main.php

define("_MD_TODAY", "Today G:i:s");
define("_MD_YESTERDAY", "Yes\te\rday G:i:s");

Thanks for the reply DuGris but no matter what i try to do i cant get this working.

I have noticed that the code on the original site and the code you listed above have slight differences.

I have uploaded all the files as required, ensured my image librarys are configured correctly, added the relevant code where required and pulled all my hair out ;)

Can you please check the examples you listed above to confirm they are correct for me as my PHP skill are quite naff

I know i said it works a treat but i guess im now just being greedy .

Is the code easy to hack so that the member that is viewing their own sent messages can delete one or all of them if they want?

Wordbook Module and Spam

Is anybody here aware of a hack or an update to the Wordbook module which can help prevent spam requests being sumitted?

I love this module but im getting fed up of removing submissions about different states in America (about ten submissions per day)which come from what i belive to be dynamic ip addresses

Is it possible to display in the private messages block the items which you have sent as well as the ones you have received?

This is not a bug, this is classed a feature as in the fact that if the news article goes over the specified number of characters in the title then this indicates that there is further information within this article.

I think that makes sense.

I'm working on doing an English translation and doing a few minor fixes.

Note: This module does not work with Global Registers set to off, im doing a workaround for this so watch this space
