Are there any built-in tools that keep track of which gets used the most? This will probably be just for webmaster uses to know if one module is never used or which was a good addition.

Are there any trivia modules available? Something similar to whathttp://gyp.schoolreference.com/ has in the right block although in this case, when answering the trivia question, it will display the correct answer after the first guess than letting the user continue to guess.

It would be nice if the trivia module has a top-scores block as well.

The beta is available. v2.01b was released 2004/5/17. Hopefully they ironed out all the bugs and are going though final checks.

Tocpe:

Thanks for the heads up about changing the cat_order to int(10). I had the exact same problem as you. And yes, it is totally safe, and recommended (imho), to change the varchar(10) to int(10).

Thanks, nice observation. I've fixed this in CVS. Instead of $mail_start = 0, use:

$mail_start = !empty($HTTP_POST_VARS['mail_start']) ? $HTTP_POST_VARS['mail_start'] : 0;

Otherwise you *will* break something if you are mailing more than 100 users.

Thanks again!

I must be slow tonight; why would mailing more than 100 users break something? Is it because it might take over 30sec to execute?

uh..huh..yeah..could you be any less helpful?

Anyways, check out the Xoops Wiki to learn about the Auto Login Hack

Xoops does not endorse auto-login for security purposes so you'll have to re-do this hack for every update until v2.1 comes out.

Hope this helps

When i try to do a regex, it seems to get stripped out. (?:\/\/) becomes (?://) when i try to edit the digest. I'm trying to strip out slashdot.org 's funky <a> links
<A HREF="//science.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=04/05/24/211220&mode=thread&tid=133&tid=134&tid=186">Remote New Zealand Volcano Sees Dinosaur Alert?</A>
Notice how HREF has two // before the domain name.

FreeContent is converting it to
http://slashdot.org//science.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=04/05/24/211220&mode=thread&tid=133&tid=134&tid=186

Notice how it puts slashdot's domain then the //

Thanks. You inspired me to start digging though the site and foundhttp://slashdot.org/search.pl which lists its top stories first.

But what about sites that don't put the news heading in links but do offer rss such as slashdot.org?
