Thank for your prompt reply builderb! That gets me one (vertical) column list view. Like this...

Now, is there a way to get two columns? Looks like this...

Any way the categories in mylink (and my ads too) can be listed vertically instead of horizontally?

Currently:

Cat A Cat B Cat C
Cat D Cat E Cat F
Cat G Cat H Cat I

I would like:

Cat A Cat F
Cat B Cat G
Cat C Cat H
Cat D Cat I
Cat E ...

For #1 -- edit file modules/news/xoops_version.php. Comment out (or delete) lines 93 & 94.

For #2 -- sorry I don't use sections, but it sounds like a permissions issue. Check admin -> group -> anonymous... and check off permission for sections. Maybe others will know better.

missing xoops 2.0.5 --> xoops 2.0.5.2?

Hi All, I'm upgrading a XOOPS 2.0.3 site to the lastest XOOPS 2.0.6

But there's a gap in the upgrade patch.

(1) 2.0.3 -> 2.0.5 patch -- no problem.
(2) 2.0.5.2 -> 2.0.6 patch -- no problem.

But where is the 2.0.5 -> 2.0.5.2 patch? (The title of the patch on the XOOPS download page says "2.0.5.x -> 2.0.6 patch", but the actual file title that is downloaded is "2.0.5.2 -> 2.0.6 patch".)

As it is, I'm stuck at XOOPS 2.0.5.

2 problems with xcGallery

I have two problems with xcGallery:

1. can't send e-card. Fill out the form, send the card, but never received it even though the system indicates that it has been sent (but not picked up yet -- obviously).

[update... the e-card issue seems to have resolved itself.]

2. can't show the list of albums on the front page, only the list of categories. I've set the admin pref to "catlist/alblist/lastup,2" which should show, categories + list of albums + 2 rows of last uploaded photos. But my front page only shows the categories and the last uploads -- no list of albums. When I delete the "catlist/" from the admin pref, it only shows 2 rows of last uploaded photos.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I'm using the myads module and would like to have members remain totally anonymous with respect to ad postings.

(1) When searching from the homepage, I want the search to include postings from the myads modules. I've figured out how to *NOT* display the name of the poster in the results page by commenting out a line in the module's include/search.inc file.

(2) However, I can't figure out how to completely exclude postings from the myads modules on the member profile page (userinfo.php). For example, I want the member profile page to show what the member posted to the forums, weblinks, etc. BUT NOT what s/he posted to the myads module.

Can someone please help me?

Make sure you enable permission in admin -> xcgallery -> groups -> and allow the appropriate groups to creat their own galleries/albums.
