Remove Login, but allow admin to log in

In an effort to "slim" up the page I'm building I'd like to remove the login block, but still log in as an admin.

Is there a way I can do this. It's going to be used for a particular network and users wont have to log in, only the admin for obvious reasons.

Thanks

I'm currently struggling with a problem. I have a website that I'd like to include the LDP How To Index on. I've create the link and it displays the Table of Contents. Here is where the problem occurs, if you click on the link it fails. It is pointed to /modules/freecontent/content rather than /modules/freecontent/content/howto/HOWTO-INDEX. I cant dump all the information in the /howto/HOWTO-INDEX into the /modules/freecontent/content directory becasue of the way the LDP was build, each directory (chapter) has it's own index.html file.

Does anyone have enough knowlede of which file I need to edit to change where the links are directed?

I went to the developrs site but it's in chinese.

Thanks

I was shocked at the number of errors it generated about a few things, but specifically I see these errors.

Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: image in file templates_c/file%3A^var^www^html^lugot.org^modules^xoopsheadline^blocks^headline_block.html line 7
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: items in file templates_c/file%3A^var^www^html^lugot.org^modules^xoopsheadline^blocks^headline_block.html line 18
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: items in file templates_c/file%3A^var^www^html^lugot.org^modules^xoopsheadline^blocks^headline_block.html line 18

But I doubt this is a problem, given the fact that is generates and error about an image?

I've sent an email with a link with this thread in it so maybe your answers will clear up the questions that I'm not able to answer.

Thanks for the help.

The hosting provider I have has asked some questions about the RSS News Feeds and I was hoping that I could get some specific answers here, being that I donw know. The questions are as follows:

"We don't have any such software running, unless this is a function of the site you have put up. What port is the other server trying to send to? Do you have an overview of how the process should work? If you can determine this, I will try to determine what piece is missing or being blocked. "

My thoughts are that they may be blocking something.

Oh I know, I'm a member of his site, I went and cried in his forum about slamming me in front of the whole world. Will I ever be the same.

OK, I've done as instructed but I am unable to make the headlins work. (by the way I've already asked how Ron got it to work at LU, no answer yet)

All I get is the Title of the newsfeed I put in, I had it working with little effort on XOOPS 1.3 and now 2.0.5 is giving me a little trouble. The RSS encoding is all I can think that may be giving me a little trouble.

Have a look at my site here.

This may be the wrong place to post this question for help but here goes...

I want the news feeds from Slashdot and Linux Today to be fed to my sight, based on what I've found at Linux Today there isnt a "feeder" RSS file that they provide. (or do they and I overlooked it).

Anyway, is there a module that will allow me to do this?

I know it's bad form to reply to your own question but I figured it out.

It's not a problem with the coding and I did understand what I was reading but there was a simple setting in the Admin.

Administration Menu --> System Admin --> Preferences

Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory? This should be set to YES.

There may be cavets with different themes or newer files residing in other locations but it solved my problem.
