I've been trying this out with the Peekay mod to show site name and page title
It's just showing me the URL and no other information
Is this because it's on my localhost and not live?
Also, I like the "This Page QR Code" but when it's in the left column it doesn't fit my theme. it's too far to the right and overlaps the center column. Where can i find the code to move it over?

with the new maintenance feature in 2.5.6, clearing caches is always the first thing i do. 
i've replaces favicon everywhere and the xoops favicon still shows

heres a stupid question
what are all the subdirectories that the standard xoops icon.ico is stored in?
I have my own icon.ico and I have put it in every subdir I can think of
In the backend my icon.ico appears in the taskbar
but in the front end the xoops icon.ico appears.

after the update all the modules, including the system module were updated
and the cache was cleared many times while i was rebuilding/changing/updating the site on the localhost
it did the same thing when i uploaded it to the live host
and there are some bugs in publisher, so i had to revert to the backup of the old site
i still have the problems with the new site on the localhost
Error debug is turned on and there are no errors showing

The help dropdown in the backend starts down and I have to manually remove it
The icons in preferences are siting in the footer
In publisher the Publish Comment box shows when you look at an item, and if you click on the publish comment button, the publish comment page is huge and doesn't fit the theme anymore. It used to be there was a button to publish comment and it would open the publish comment page.

obviously not fixed because i'm having the same issues.
after updating the site from 3.4.5 to 3.5.6 everything seemed to be working fine on the localhost
but as soon as i installed it on the live server, publisher started acting up and i was getting errors for protector
i've gone back to the 2.4.5 backup on the live server and i won't bother updating anything

I'm using the last Publisher and the latest 2.5.6
I still need the title to appear in the tabs so that the "Share This" buttons will work. I tried 4 different social network share buttons and they all pick up the name from the title tag.

I tried Addthis.com but it only shows the URL and not the name of the article
Probably because Publisher doesn't show the item name in the title tags
