Sorry, forgot to say the hack I was referring to was this one., maybe it's not a hack.

Also, I knew the <{$xoops_slogan}> had to be, but I couldn't find it. Anyone know of an FAQ or post that list them all?

Steve

FIXED!

Yes but the real problem lies here...

themes/neoblue/css/style.css
#neoblueheader h1 {
margin: 0px;
line-height:100px;
font-size:xx-large;

to:
#neoblueheader h1 {
margin: 0px;
line-height:55px;
font-size:xx-large;

Thanks for the helpp guys/gals!

xoops 2.014, Neo blue theme (with hack for 2.014)

I know some css but this one I can't get for some reason. What I want to have is something like this:

My Site Name
My Site Slogan Here

In themes/neoblue/theme.html the current code is:
<div class="headerlogo_c">
<
h1><a href="<{$xoops_url}>/" title="<{$xoops_sitename}>"><{$xoops_sitename}></a></h1>
</
div>

What I have been trying is variations like this:
<div class="headerlogo_c">
<
h1><a href="<{$xoops_url}>/" title="<{$xoops_sitename}>"><{$xoops_sitename}></a></h1><h3><br/>This is my Site Slogan</h3>
</
div>

It seems like that should work to me but it actually places the slogan at the top of the main nav (navsections) instead.

Any help for this rookie would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

Thanks for the info. I knew there was an article somewhere I just couldn't find it.

There is so much good information on this site. My search skills must be really poor cause I always have a hard time finding what I'm looking for then a user will just instantly throw up a link.

Thanks for the help,

Steve

I have been having a lot of fun with XOOPS and learning a ton. I have aquired a few Mods that I want to remove/delete and before I make some major mistake I wanted to check.

I was thinking of simply deleting the Mod folder from the server then deleting the tables related to them in the db. Can this cause me any headaches or is there a better way?

Thanks mucho,

Steve

Hi All,
My test site has only XOOPS 2.0.15 and Protector 2.52 installed. I really liked the neoblue theme, downloaded it, extracted it, ftp'd it to my themes folder.

Next I went to Admin | Prefrences | General Settings and selected neoblue for the default theme.

When I go to the home page it looks as if the style sheet is not kicking in. I get data but no style.

I have also tried every combination with "Check templates for modifications ?" and "selectable themes" I have also tried other themes and get the same result.

I know I'm being a bonehead here but what am I missing? I've spent the last few hours searching but I'm really not getting something.

Thanks for any help.

Rotating block mod

Anyone know of a mod that will display an image, short clip of an article with a link to the full article and will also rotate the articles in the block?

I know that's a lot to ask, but it's what I need. If you know of one or possibly a combination of mods that will handle this I be greatful.

Or maybe it's just time for me to get my feet wet and try to work through creating my first real mod.

Thanks,
Steve
