let me first present the debug mode messages.
on website main page i got this one error only
then there were no errors on the snXdwop directory but when i clicked on the sub directory then it showed the following errors

I have installed the module named "SnX DWodp XOOPS DMOZ Integrator"
its firt page shows up very nicely. there was an error in its image placement but that wasnt a big problem the major problem is that it does show the main page but when you try to enter some sub category then it shows no content.
has anyone else the same problem.

Is t possible that we have a module for msn-messenger and Yahoo messenger in our xoops.
just like one in http://www.ebuddy.com/?web_messenger
there are a lots of projects going on at source forge but i dont know if any one is directed for XOOPS as you can view on

Have you created a sample registered user or have you been checking it with your webmaster account.
because things that dont appear to registered members do appear to webmaster.

now comming to the second problem.
there is no .htaccess file in the root.
should i create it myself ? if yes then what does it look like ?
what should it contain apart from the register global things etc.?

i got the problem.
actually i was editting it in notepad.
what notepad did was that after saving it junked the data into each other that what was causing the error.
this time i editted it thru the edit file option in filmanager in Cpanel.
how i got it was that the file size before editing in notepad was 5.30kb and after i added the line and saved it , instead of increase in file size , it decreased, that clicked me.
actually i was editting it in notepad.
what notepad did was that after saving it junked the data into each other that what was causing the error.
