Which banner are you refering to? The advertisement banner? The site's logo banner? Or perhaps a module banner.

I would love to help you but I need more information.

I was going to direct you to the templates section but browsing in there (at least w/ XOOPS 2.x.x) there is no standalone reply section but I didn't get a chance to take a harder look.

To get there: Admin > Templates > System

The only think I can think of is manually editing the link before linking others, but i'm sure there is another way.

To get a better responce I would have started a new topic just to let you know.

Sorry I couldn't be much of any help in this one but I'm sure others can produce a better answer.

Thanks Herko and JackJ, this really took me a long time to do and hopefully can be put to use.

CBlue helped me in brainstorming and I usually as her about things since CBlue has delt with a lot of support here.

Its hard trying to figure out what can be done, but hopefully I will get more feedback now.

Hmmm... will do. But my major concern is the FAQ layout, and how to organize it. I've been mixing things up a tad, we'll see how it works.

If anyone got a chance to view it; suggestions are really important for it to be better designed - and are most appreciated.

That's very odd - if both the registeration and notification e-mails work fine because they're sent to the same address.

I really don't know what could have gone wrong, but try updating the module and see if it fixes anything.

How do you want it set up? User uploaded reviews or you write your own reviews?

There is plenty of ways to do it, but if you redefine your question a bit more I can point you in the right direction

This is a lot harder then I first thought - I need help laying all the FAQs out so the user doesn’t have to look far to find information.

I'm also running out of questions to cover, I've endlessly browsed through recent and old asked questions and it's hard picking out questions that have been repetitive - I can't cover everything (due to obvious reasoning) and I am aiming at covering only the most asked ones.

I also need help promoting it (and getting it linked when asking questions) because if it won't be used that much I don't see why I should continue to waste more time on it.

In addition to the XOOPS Resource that I started to createXOOPS FAQ
I also started to expand upon a new which covers frequent questions asked in the XOOPS community.

Why am I creating this?
I noticed a lack of documentations on XOOPS and a solid FAQ which covered more areas in the XOOPS Community, and as a way of giving back I decided to do this.

The FAQ was inspired with my talk with CBlue who suggested to do something like it, and I probably will be using her help soon in enhancing it.


How these two items can help...

I hope that XOOPS community members will take the little time to browse the FAQ before posting common questions. This will cut the time for XOOPS Support staff and others, and perhaps the XOOPS Staff can use that time to work on the CMS itself.

It will also save time for the support staff when the answer common questions because instead of explaning the answer all over again they can link to the FAQ or the specific question.


Suggestions / Comments Welcome
I'm really just trying to give my little aid and and suggestions / comments will be most welcomed.
