In addition to the
XOOPS Resource that I started to create
XOOPS FAQ I also started to expand upon a new which covers frequent questions asked in the XOOPS community.
Why am I creating this?I noticed a lack of documentations on XOOPS and a solid FAQ which covered more areas in the XOOPS Community, and as a way of giving back I decided to do this.
The FAQ was inspired with my talk with CBlue who suggested to do something like it, and I probably will be using her help soon in enhancing it.
How these two items can help...I hope that XOOPS community members will take the little time to browse the FAQ before posting common questions. This will cut the time for XOOPS Support staff and others, and perhaps the XOOPS Staff can use that time to work on the CMS itself.
It will also save time for the support staff when the answer common questions because instead of explaning the answer all over again they can link to the FAQ or the specific question.
