Ok, the image is showing in the manager fine, the catagories are made but how do you insert the image in the article?

That section/article editor has nothing but a text box with no other controls.

I tried lots of search terms here but the search gives no usable results.

Configured the image manager and it's fine.

When I go to make a section and post, in IE, I see a small box with a red X. Clicking in it does nothing.

In Firefox, I don't see the small box at all.

Question: is the small box where you add an image? and what could be disabling it? Could the problem be in the browser settings?

Restoring a failed theme.

This is probably mentioned somewhere but thought I'd post it in case some else did it. I was playing around with choosing different themes from the manager and for some reason, one apparently failed as all I got was a white screen and couldn't get back to admin.

Went to Cpanel PHPMYADMIN and to the XOOPS db. Clicked "browse" on xoops_config. Clicked the edit(pencil icon) on "theme_set". In the conf_value, there was a text box with the failed theme name.

I just deleted the failed theme name and typed default into the text box and clicked "go" at the bottom. Everything was restored back to the default theme.

Thanks a lot! It was in the sections and not visable. Moved it back to top page.

I had visions of a re-install.

Lost main menu

I was playing in blocks. Clicked main menu edit.

2. clicked "visible in" : sections.

Now the main menu is not in the blocks list anymore and can't find it anywhere.

How can I restore the main menu?

In the image manager, the box where you set the pixels, can I set it to any size? ie: 500px x 700px?

Ok, got it now and changed the theme. I was confused what went where. This happens when playing with half a dozen systems at the same time..LOL!
