Trying to insert image in article

Configured the image manager and it's fine.

When I go to make a section and post, in IE, I see a small box with a red X. Clicking in it does nothing.

In Firefox, I don't see the small box at all.

Question: is the small box where you add an image? and what could be disabling it? Could the problem be in the browser settings?

That little box with the red X means that either the image doesn't exist, or that the url to it is wrong.

Ok, the image is showing in the manager fine, the catagories are made but how do you insert the image in the article?

That section/article editor has nothing but a text box with no other controls.

I tried lots of search terms here but the search gives no usable results.

Try a different module - head to smart factory and grab the smart section module - has an insert image in the editor. here
