The next April fool should a module which could "RECYCLE" all these same questions or threads.
You know a module will check whether or not the question was asked before and redirect the user to the already active question and answers.
That would keep the forum less clouded with these question Like hey" I have a blank page' or hi I can't write to the mainfile.'
Just a module which will do the job auto.. , " filter the question and if it exist redirect the user to the active solution.
With that XOOPS will beat go*gle. "They are working on the recycling rss article stuff. so RSS will be labelled with a recycled icon rather that new...

Notification with CATADS:

Your whole database or website should be fine.

Maybe!!! it is just a minor matter with the CATADS. ; the "notification.inc.php" in the include folder of catads. It might be unfinished .
So there is some little work to done on it, so that it can retrieve the data.
A temporary solution until you can fix that minor problem is to turn the CATADS notification system off.

If you turn off the notification system for CATADS, then, the rest of you site will work fine.
All the other notifications from your user tool will work great, and that nice little page will show up.

Just turn it off for the moment
At least that will give your users anothe reason to come back and make that their ads are being published.
