Does the problem occur with the default theme?

Curiously, no. Do you know what the problem is?

btw I did make several searches before posting but I have not found anything that is similar in nature to my problem.

Re: What on earth.......

Actually, I just checked one of my sites which already had this feature enabled......I can't say I've noticed anything different

I must say that this is quite a confusing sentence:

This feature forces readers to reply to the original posters post before being able to read the original

How can you reply to a post you haven't read yet?

Re: What on earth.......

I'm guessing it's for ensuring the original post is read before being allowed to post a reply. Sometimes in particularly long threads, the later posts might start to go off-topic when people reply to the later posts rather than the original one. I suppose it might help to keep threads from derailing. How it actually does this I don't know. Perhaps I'll try it and get back to you.

Re: Little problem

Sometimes, if I've previously cut ' paste a password, the browser has 'saved' it for next time but with a space at the end. I guess XOOPS recognised the space as another character and refused it. I'm not saying that this is what has happened in your case but it's worth checking.

If this doesn't help, you might want to manually type it in on the various pages throughout XOOPS where asked, until such time as the issue is resolved.

Re: How can I modify modules template to my theme?

You can edit a lot in your theme's stylesheet (style.css)

I have recently come across a strange problem with my XOOPS sites. Most left blocks have started to spread themselves across the majority of the page! This can be resolved when clearing the cache and I assumed it was a problem unique to my browser but others have noticed it too.

Can anyone suggest what the cause is or how I might rectify it?

I'm on 2.2.3 final btw.

This is what the site should look like:

Here is how the page sometimes looks:

Thanks guys!

I have access to the database with the aid of phpMyAdmin but wouldn't have a clue where to edit.

I think phpBB does this with Announcements rather than Stickies.
