I'm 2.2.2 and I can't see my own (webmaster) PM link, nor can any other users. As far as I can tell everything is wide open. It's not a field which can be edited from the profile management, and it's marked visible by all in all circumstances. I'm using extended profile.

So, I'm curious if this was introduced earlier - I was just notified by one of my beta users that it doesn't show. I can still send and receive PM, it just doesn't show up as a button under my avatar on the profile like other users (who all seem to be fine!)

GiJoe suggested I upgrade to 2.9 alpha and this indeed fixed the issue (though it introduced a small thing with limiting the number of thumbnails on the Recent Photos with Thumbs block).

Just wanted to update the thread in case anyone else is in the same boat.

It's not really a module, so I'm not sure why it's posted as such. At any rate, the instructions are poorly translated here:
https://xoops.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=1293

Basically, you upload the file to a directory, then create a custom PHP block and add in the text (path will likely change) and it should work - it did on mine. I got an offset message on line 95, but I haven't looked into it. It's not that fancy looking. I'm still trying to find the module I keep seeing that has little people icons and is rather colorful.

I upgraded to XOOPS 2.2.2 and it seems like the issue is gone. It now only shows one time for beginning and one for end.

Before it was showing both the time it was set for no matter the GMT and then the resulting GMT time next to it.

I don't recall changing anything else. I have confirmed my ID had the same timezone as well...

Anyone else see this happen?

[I accidentally posted this in the Beginner's forum - sorry about the cross post]
I'm using the latest myAlbum-P (2.84) on XOOPS 2.2.2 with PHP5. Everything is working except that I can't alter security. I can personally upload/edit, delete as webmaster, but I can't grant ANY permissions to anyone or even change my own.

When I check something and save, it says permissions successfully applied, however, I see no information that it's altering any tables. When I return to the Global Permissions, it shows the old settings.

Server Timezone and Default Timezone are both set to Central. I've tried entering new events under GMT, as GMT-6 and I think I've tried all of the settings under piCal module preferences related to this.

If someone has this working, and when new entries show up, they show up at the right time on the right day, I'd love to know the settings.

I'm using 0.8 and I've set the timezone in the general system properties properly. Any other ideas?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or something I'm doing wrong. I'm using the latest piCal and it works great except one thing. I have set my XOOPS to use Central Standard (GMT-6) and no matter the combo I use when entering a new event in the calendar, the date doesn't work. I've tried using the system settings in the piCal setup, tried using GMT-0 when putting in the cal entries and GMT-6. They seem to show up with both dates when you open the entry, but it will either push the date to the future one day or show the wrong time.

Anyone using this module having the same troubles with TZ? Otherwise, it seems to work fine.

I'm running XOOPS 2.2.1 (although this failed on 2.2) and PHP5.

I think I found the answer. It was Firefox and restarting the browser took care of the issue.
