Google says you can't place more than two adsense codes on a single page, so this could be against the TOS.

I have a site that has wordpress as the main page (razornylon.com) and then I XOOPS in a folder (razornylon.com/xoops) and linked to from within xoops.

Wordpress is great, but its just a blog. Not a whole lot more.

What I am trying to do is to have both XOOPS and wordpress running in the root folder. The home page would be xoops, but any blog entries would be razornylon.com/whatever and not razornylon.com/modules/wordpress/whatever it just doesn't look as pretty. That module also doesn't support a large majority of the plugins customized for wordpress.

I want a blog that is still SEO friendly, but with the ease of use and expandability that XOOPS offers. Forum, FAQ, contact, games, downloads..., etc.

Any suggestions on how I can do this? My first attempt failed, which right now all you will find at any URL's I mentioned is a blank page so trying for round two, hoping I can get some pointers though!

Do a view source on any 'new topic' page and look where you can normally drop down to get all the codes. I don't have xcode on my site, but they do here on XOOPS and I think you're looking for 'dhtmltextarea'.

Do the view source to double check!

I had to rename 'plugin.dist.php' to 'plugin.php' then edit it (an assumption I made from how mainfile.php works) and my tinyeditor is 'tinymce'.

Second hack I have done this week where 'tzvook' has given me the answer! You're too awesome!!! [Other issue I had] If this keeps though I am going to be stuck on XOOPS 2.3.3 forever!

The default text editor in newbb is Extended DHTML, I want to change it to TinyEditor or any WYSIWYG for that matter, by default.

I found one tutorial but its for XOOPS 2.0.18 and doesn't work with 2.3.

Turning my site into an RSS reader

I am wondering if there is a way to display RSS feeds on my site giving visitors the ability to read the entire article without leaving my site.

I currently use xhld0, but that only shows the title to the article. I need a way for my wordpress posts to show up on the home page for my XOOPS site.

I have tried the wordpress module and hate it, it's so out of date that I can't use any of the plugins, primarily the SPAM protection ones which save me an ungodly amount of time.

I just want something that will turn my site into an RSS reader. Any idea how to do that?

I would like to display the most recent post in its entirety, then links to the latest 5-10 articles just under it.

XOOPS not sending registration mail

I can send mail through XOOPS using the send mail function. However when a user registers, it's not sending the activation e-mail.

Any thoughts as to how to troubleshoot this? I am running XOOPS 2.3.3, but this has been upgraded so many times I've lost count. See my registration date on the left here to get an idea. Does having all these extra files from old installs make a difference?
