only 2.2+ needed a solution. In 2.0.x, i think there's a button somewhere in the admin that'll do it.

i could be wrong though.

My all time favorite XOOPS themes were all done by montisarts. I'd say that only 1/10th of his themes are on xoops.org. a lot of the others were on his site, but it disappeared a long time ago.

Does anybody know where I can get my hands on all his old stuff? I've been thinking about updating some of them and changing some around.

on a side note, i stumbled across a newer site of his...http://www.frankmontis.com/ <--i can't believe that's a XOOPS site. it's truly unique

that's an excellent idea. i'd use it because some of the threads in my forums are 15+ pages. it'd be nice if the first post was always "highlighted" on top.

you should go to xoopsforge.com and suggest it to phppp so that he might add it to a future release of cbb/newbb

i wouldn't say that most of the themes are ugly. but I would say that most of the themes are a little too bland and simple. Personally, I like websites that stand out and have nice colors and graphics.

I remember somebody making a post a while back saying they were going to make some variations on montis themes. that sounds like a good idea and i might do that myself. just using his code and adding new graphics to them.

I think that phppp said something a long time ago about adding that feature to cbb. I'm not sure if they're still planning on doing that eventually, but it could hurt to go ask about it on his forum at xoopsforge

i'd love to have that feature on my forums too. if you figure something out, let me know

Hello,

I'm using wfdownloads 3.1 with XOOPS 2.2.4

I would like to add a javascript to /wfdownloads/visit.php that needs to use
<body onload="j a v a s c r i p t : hasIE_hideAndShow();">

and then the rest of the script contents are supposed to come after the body tag.

I have no clue how to get this to work with visit.php. to be more specific, i actually only want this script to execute on my disclaimer page.

If anyone can offer some advice or help, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Mantooth

I want to start off by saying that hostultra is the absolute WORST host imaginable. I don't want to go into details because I'd end up in a 10 page rant.

Ultranetdomains, however, has been amazing. I couldn't imagine better customer service. Todd fogel (Terrion) even went so far as to call me to offer help with the transfer. I have a relatively large database (70mb) that was giving me difficulty in phpmyadmin and he set up a script and uploaded it himself.

Ultranetdomains even offered advice on how to deal with some of my hostultra problems, such as how to wrestle control of my domain name from them.

If you're looking for a great place to host your XOOPS site, you should definitely get in touch with terrion about it.
